Online course delivery rules
Version 2026-09-26-v8. These rules apply to CIWZ Academy courses for which online delivery is enabled.
- Personal access. The account is personal. Credentials, 2FA and course access may not be transferred or shared.
- Free access to learning and examination. No payment is required to start or complete the online course or to take the final examination. Access becomes available after registration, account/security requirements and acceptance of the applicable rules.
- Certificate on request. After a successful and, where applicable, reviewed examination, the candidate may decide whether to request the certificate. Any configured issuance fee is requested only at that stage. Payment may be made from the Academy wallet or by bank transfer after prior invoice request and issuance.
- Contextual AI learning assistant. Where enabled, lessons provide a clearly identified AI assistant restricted to the current lesson and standards context. Voice or written questions may be used. The assistant is disabled during intermediate and final assessments, may produce inaccuracies, and does not replace official standards or professional advice.
- Mandatory course completion. Where online delivery is enabled, the final examination is unlocked only after every chapter has been completed, all intermediate checks have been passed, and minimum study time has been recorded by the server.
- Server-side timing. Study time is measured by the platform using server timestamps and heartbeat events. Client-side clocks, browser timers and SCORM values are not accepted as authoritative evidence of duration. Closing or hiding the lesson pauses valid active-time accumulation.
- Intermediate checks. Each chapter ends with three multiple-choice questions. All three must be correct. The candidate has up to three attempts in the same study cycle. After three unsuccessful attempts, that chapter must be studied again and its minimum study time restarts. New attempts use different questions where the configured question bank permits it.
- Attendance, frontal attention and AI-assisted integrity. Validated online attendance requires an active camera stream. During lessons, local checks verify framing, frontal head position and, where technically supported, gaze direction; lesson video is not stored. Validated study time pauses while minimum frontal-presence conditions are not met. When enabled, periodic AI visual observations may flag clearly visible additional people, secondary devices, reference material or candidate absence. If local audio-activity monitoring is enabled, the microphone is processed on-device only to detect sustained voice/sound activity and is never recorded, transmitted or transcribed. Page-focus loss and integrity events may generate warnings. After three warnings, validated study is paused for five minutes. No identity recognition, emotion analysis or sensitive-trait inference is performed.
- Assessment integrity and recording. Intermediate and final tests require the front camera. The camera is recorded without audio together with focus, navigation and integrity events after an explicit notice/acceptance. When enabled, local microphone analysis detects sustained audio activity without recording or transcription, while AI-assisted visual checks may flag visible additional people, secondary devices or obvious reference material. The Digital Tutor uses centered real-time alerts; authorized human tutors may review recordings and the event timeline. Automated signals are contextual indicators and do not by themselves determine pass/fail. Copy/paste, selection, printing and common developer-tool shortcuts may be restricted and logged.
- Final examination. After mandatory learning requirements are completed, the final test is available without payment and follows the examination rules in force on CIWZ Academy, including security controls, anti-repeat question selection and result review where applicable.
- Languages. Where available, the candidate chooses Italian or English. The selected version applies to course content; examination language remains governed by the Academy interface and course configuration.
- Records. Acceptance, access, chapter progression, integrity events, intermediate attempts, exam attempts, assessment-video segments and certificate-payment state are recorded for auditability and process integrity. Assessment recordings are video-only (no audio) and are subject to the retention period communicated before recording.
Pre-session identity and random checks
Before the course or exam starts, the learner completes room scan, document verification and a live selfie. Extracted data must be confirmed. During learning, mini-tests or the final exam, the system may randomly request a new face capture up to three times per path. If an anomaly is detected, the session is suspended and verification must be repeated; for lessons, the current chapter may restart from the beginning. Previously completed chapters may be reopened for review without losing completion history.
Secure Room / protected full screen
Lessons, intermediate checks and final exams may require CIWZ Secure Room. The page attempts to enter full screen and shows a green 10-pt frame while the session is active. Leaving full screen, switching apps or losing focus suspends the protected session and changes the frame to flashing red until the user re-enters. Voluntary exit is available from the dedicated button or, on compatible browsers, by saying “Exit” (Italian: “Voglio uscire”). Browser-level controls restrict copy, selection, printing and common shortcuts; they cannot absolutely prevent operating-system screenshots, hardware capture or external devices.
